1/9/1674 House Carpenter. Built "Farms District" house 1677, owned in 1879
by Luther Noyes, the place originally belonged to John Hull who died in
1670 - purchased then by John Noyes (2). "The homestead has descended from
John Noyes of the 2nd generation to his son & grandson Daniel, to Maj.
Samuel, to Samuel his son, to Luther and his nephew Silas M.8(2208) the
present occupant." On this farm is situated the mines which were
discovered a few years ago.
