[148] Emigrant. Tristram Coffin Jr. did not stay at Nantucket, but returned to
Newbury where he lived and died. He was a magistrate and Commissioner of
Salisbury and prominent in all Town affairs. (Helen Wescott Noyes had a
paper signed by Tristram Coffin Jr. calling a town meeting.)

(Two of his daughters married into the Noyes lines.)
