Robert Clement came to New England about 1642 and was a Founder of
Haverhill. He landed at Salisbury and went with Tristram Coffin to
Pentucket (Haverhill). He was made a Freeman at Haverhill in 1647. He
was a Deputy to the Gen. Court in 1647 and up to 1657; Assistant Judge,
Norfold Co., 1648-49.
