[167] Emigrant to Hingham, MA in the ship "Diligent" with wife Mary (Clarke),
three sons and two daughters and three servants. He was a Proprietor and
a Freeman in 1638. He removed to Ipswich where he was a Selectman in
1649. He then moved to Exeter, NH where he died Feb. 10, 1655. He left
his widow Mary. _Wentworth_Genealogy_ pg 381 gives a history of the
Gilman Family in England. They were a family of good Education and
position.
