[90] Emigrant 1634 from Norfolk, England on the ship "Mary & John" with Rev.
Tohmas Parker and group to Ipswich, then Newbury, MA. He then removed to
Haverhill, an original settler. He was a Grantee of the original Indian
Deed, 1642, Nov. 15 which is still in existance(as of 1952). His first
wife Mary was the mother of his only child. Mary White died 1681, Sept.
22 at Haverhill and is buried beside her husband in the Old Pentucket
Burying Groud. Mr. William White married second 1682, Sept. 2 the widow
Sarah Martin Foster (her third marriage). William White died 1690, Sept.
28. There is a monument in the center of Haverhill to Mr. William White
and his wife Mary.
